The Gallery is displaying and selling books from the Library of Wales Collection published by Parthian Books of Cardigan. Parthian marked twenty-five years of publishing in 2018/19 with several award-winning books, in addition to launching two collaborative translation projects and bringing its classic Library of Wales list to fifty titles.

Parthian also publish many contemporary writers with close links to Pembrokeshire. In the Autumn (date tbc), we will be hosting an event with Jack Smylie Wild to mark the publication of his book Riverwise Meditations on Afon Teifi, illustrated by Ian Phillips. Special Offer to The Gallery customers Peter Lord’s The Tradition A New History of Welsh Art only £30  (when purchased at The Gallery)
