I am a landscape painter based in Mid Wales, working through plein air and studio painting. My work focuses on the Pembrokeshire coastline, with a particular interest in its changing character and biodiversity. Painting outdoors allows me to observe and respond to the immediate conditions of the landscape — shifting weather, tides, and seasonal changes. This direct approach helps me better understand the physical and environmental dynamics of the places I am drawn to. As a committed environmentalist, I’m especially interested in the flora and fauna of the coast, including the unique ecosystems found on its islands. My work aims to document and reflect these environments, highlighting both their beauty and their ecological importance.
