Grahame Hurd-Wood is a landscape artist, working predominantly in oils, and mixed media acrylics, who specialises in painting out of doors. His large, colourful paintings capture the landscapes of the St Davids Peninsula, which he has made his home.
Grahame was at the Royal Academy where he achieved an MA in Fine Art, and he moved to Pembrokeshire in the 1980s. Since then Grahame has painted and exhibited in Pembrokeshire and throughout Wales, and has had several exhibitions in London. He has exhibited at Whitechapel Gallery, the New Grafton, Ifield in Chelsea and The South London Gallery. Grahame has also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where he showed as an RA student.
